Dave's Pumpkins

This is a little late but I just loaded these in the computer. I think Dave did a really nice job!

Unsupervised Child

As I was feeding Allysen her bottle tonight, Dave was getting ready to leave for his appointment, I asked Carsen to wash his hands. Suddenly, it got very quiet! I asked Carsen what he was doing. He jumped out of the bathroom and said "Do I look like a superhero mommy?". I said "yes, please come here", as I noticed something didn't look right. He came towards me and this is what I saw...

Halloween

Here are Carsen and Allysen at Halloween! Carsen was a ghost and Allysen was a butterfly!

New Pictures of the kids

I LOVE Winter!

It has been awhile since I've posted on this blog! We have been so busy lately and not to mention, had some illnesses! I've had bronchitis, the flu and a cold. Carsen had a cold. Dave only had the flu. Allysen had the flu, a cold and now an ear infection! I LOVE winter!

I will post some new pictures of the kids soon!

Carsen, Allysen & Dad

Dad and his two favorite people! Not to mention, these are my three favorite people on the face of this earth!

Allysen's first taste of carrots

They smelled gross so I can only imagine what they taste like (I don't try baby food)! She loves Squash!

Dave's Dream Comes to Life

Saturday, Dave and I went to Miller Park to watch his beloved Brewers play in game 3 of the playoffs! We ordered tickets on Friday night and even though we didn't get to sit together, we had a great time! He met some fans and I met a girl that came by herself because her husband didn't want to go (talk about a fan!)! It was awesome! The crowd was electric and it was so loud! They won but on Sunday, they lost and are out of the playoffs! Even though they only one 1 out of 4 games, it took them 26 years to get to that point! I've never seen Dave that excited to go to a Brewers game! He was like a kid in a candy store! I've posted pictures of how close his seat was! He got Bud Seligs autograph! It was great!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Tonight, Carsen and I made Chocolate Chip Cookies (you can see the evidence on his face)! The best, was eating them right after we took them out of the oven (ok, so maybe 5-10 minutes after so they could cool)! They were probably my best batch ever! Carsen said I was the best cookie cooker in the whole world! I'll take it even if he has only experienced store bought and ready made cookie dough cookies(tonight was from scratch though)!

School

Carsen is learning to write in 4K. I took a picture of what he was trying to write tonight. He knows how to spell his name and write anything that you ask him to if you write it out. He will copy anything. I tried to stump him but he is way to smart for his own good!

GO BREWERS!

Brewers have made the play-offs! They haven't made it since 1982 (Dave was 8)! Dave was so excited on Sunday, he was jumping around in the living room! I've never seen him so happy (except for when our children were born and when we got married)! Now, we have to hope they make it further than 1 play-off round!

Flag Football

Carsen is playing Flag Football this fall! He goes every Saturday morning and they practice for about 1/2 hour and then play a game! He really enjoys it and it is really fun to watch! There are times though that I am "that parent" that yells and tells him to go faster! I need to work on that! He is so competetive at an early age! I can't wait until high school football! Hopefully he keeps with it!

Purse Freak Party

Cresta is having a Beijo Bags (www.beijobags.com) party!!!

Feel free to browse there website! If you can't make it and would like to see some or buy one, I can get you in touch with the person that sells them! I love mine I got last fall!

Carsen's Wisdom

I am not sure how much I will post but I think this thing is really cool. I thought I would share a humerous moment with everyone. Last Friday, our good friend was going to take Carsen to the Kimberly football game. I was holding Allysen who was crying. Carsen asked why she was crying and I replied that it was because she could not go to the football game. Carsen promptly began to rub her head and say "It's ok Allysen, but crying is not going to get you anywhere." You can't help but smile. Think he heard that before?
